During the Second World War, at the Battle of Monte Castello, Italy, a squadron of FEB (Brazilian Expeditionary Force) mine hunters suffers a panic attack and ends up lost in “no man’s land.” Along the way, they find two deserters: an Italian soldier who regretted having turned partiggiano and a German officer tired of the war.
